Little Horse Communications is a full service graphic design studio generating exciting and appropriate graphic design solutions for a diverse client base throughout Nova Scotia and beyond. Little Horse Communications is owned and operated by Lisa Hines, an ‘87 graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design Bachelor of Design program (Vis Comm). Good working relationships with a number of local designers and artists provide the flexibility to grow on demand and tackle design jobs of varying scope. In addition, Little Horse Communications has developed long term working relationships with a variety of both local and provincially located printers, sign makers, web designers, marketing specialists, writers, photographers and other production service providers.
 
Lisa Hines works from a home based studio on our farm outside of Windsor in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. The low overhead of a home based studio enables design prices to stay very competitive. Recently many clients have been Nova Scotian farmers adding value to the products they grow, or wholesalers/retailers wishing to better market and present the local products they sell. Born of farm families on both sides Lisa grew up with a strong appreciation for the both the lifestyle and business of farming. The move towards buying local and supporting sustainable agriculture bodes well for future branding, packaging and promotional projects. Little Horse Communications is well equipped to meet these demands with the latest Mac technology and design appropriate software and hardware. When not at her desk with dogs at her feet, Lisa can likely be found in the barn, the garden or at the rink.
